A ex-military leader of the the nation's space operations center will deliver recommendations next month on how the government-funded institute can best support the scale of government AI ambitions in defense, national security and information gathering.

Organizational Refocusing

The institute's chair, a former Amazon UK boss, confirmed that nearly eighty separate studies at the organization with 440 employees have been closed, spun out or finished because they aren't consistent with the new direction.
